She has been a practicing dental hygienist for over 20 years and currently provides dental hygiene services at Polished Dental Hygiene Clinic. She is also a registered yoga teacher and currently instructs classes through Balance 4 Bliss. Paula would be the first to tell you she is a self-help junkie who cannot seem to learn enough. Shira is a Registered Massage Therapist and Dance and Movement Teacher with 20 years of experience providing body-work, teaching creative and therapeutic movement to children & adults, both 1-on-1 and in groups.
Shira has studied Integrated massage therapy, orthopedic massage therapy, Holistic Physical Psychotherapy with emphasis on deep tissue massage, emotional release, movement therapy, postural awareness and breathing techniques.
In her work, she strives to create a balance between providing clients with the support they need to relieve stress and pain, and gain more mobility and flexibility and giving them tools so they can maintain the progress they have made in their sessions on their own.
Don is an experienced registered massage therapist specializing in Rolfing, Myofascial Release, and Cranial Sacral Therapy.
He uses these techniques to release fascial tension, improve posture, and promote overall well-being.
With a BA in Psychology, Don incorporates a holistic approach to address physical, mental, and emotional needs. He incorporates therapeutic movement exercises and breath-work during sessions and provides clients with homework. Don's integrative approach aims to alleviate pain, reduce stress, improve mobility, and support overall health for his clients.
He has been in practice since 1997.
